The Merseyrail Sound Station pop-up stage will be pitching up at St Michaels for LIMF on Saturday 22nd July. To give rail passengers the perfect start to their Liverpool International Music Festival Experience, we’ll be hosting artists from 1.30 to the early evening.
Accompanying the biggest free music festival in Europe, the St Michaels pop-up gives Sound Station an opportunity to showcase some of the best up and coming musicians. There will be a mixture of artists playing stripped back sets before or after their performance in the park for LIMF Summer Jam and artists looking to enter the Merseyrail Sound Station prize.
Get to LIMF by train to experience the best emerging talent from the moment you arrive in South Liverpool.
St Michaels train station is a short walk from Sefton Park, with regular services running throughout the day to easily get you to and from the event. Passengers travelling to LIMF from the Wirral, or on the Kirkby and Ormskirk lines can change at Liverpool Central and board the next train to Hunts Cross on the Northern Line. Southport line passengers can travel direct to St Michael’s station on the Hunts Cross service.
